This junction of contractor's temporary rails was photographed during the construction of the Uxbridge Branch line, a short route operated by the Great Western Railway which left the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line near Denham, Buckinghamshire. At rest beside the semaphore signal is a steel drop-side wagon.
