A single line of well laid contractor's temporary railway passes beneath this handsome lattice work girder footbridge near Old Basford, Nottingham. The locomotive visible beyond almost certainly belonged to Logan & Hemingway, the firm contracted to build this section of the Last Main Line (Contract No.1, Annesley to Leake).
