Great Central's girder bridge over the Midland Railway, Loughborough, LeicestershireGirder bridge built to carry the London Extension over the Midland Railway at Loughborough, Leicestershire, circa 1897. The trucks moving along the bridge appear to be contractor's tipping wagons, suggesting this section of the line has not yet opened for traffic. The bridge formed part of Contract No. 2 (Leake to Aylestone), built by Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton.
